Doctrine Development Division of Army Training and Doctrine Command Headquarters (TRADOC HQ) organized the 97th Army Doctrine Committee Meeting held in Seroja Room, Wisma Transit Kuala Lumpur on 5 Dec 23. The meeting was chaired by Lt Gen Dato' Tengku Muhammad Fauzi bin Tengku Ibrahim, Deputy Chief of Army. 

The purpose of this meeting is to discuss achievements of Army's Doctrine development that in line with current challenges comprising of contemporary threats, diversity of domains and operational environments as well as assessment of Army capabilities to undertake these challenges. In addition, this discussion also focused on analyzing the Techniques, Tactics and Procedures (TTP) at Operational and Tactical levels practiced by each Corps in the Army that required an integration to enhance the organization's capabilities in executing Joint and Multi-Domain Operations.

Also present in the meeting were Maj Gen Datuk Marzuki bin Hj Mokhtar (GOC TRADOC HQ), Maj Gen Datuk Johnny Lim Eng Seng, (CoS Army Field Command HQ West) Maj Gen Dato' Reizal Arif bin Tan Sri Ismail (CoS Army Field Command HQ East), Maj Gen Dato' Haji Semaon bin Hj Marjuki (Assistant CoS Ops and Training Army HQ) and other Permanent Members of the meeting.

 

ARMY DOCTRINE COMMITTEE MEETING NO. 98

The Doctrine Development Division (BPD) of the Army Training and Doctrine Command Headquarters (MK PLDTD) organized the 98th Army Doctrine Committee Meeting (JKDTD) at Wisma Perwira ATM, Kuala Lumpur on 30 July, 2024. The meeting was chaired by Lt Gen Dato' Tengku Muhammad Fauzi bin Tengku Ibrahim, Deputy Chief of Army Staff.

The purpose of the meeting was to discuss the progress in the development of Army Doctrine to ensure that the manuals being developed meet the current service requirements, environmental changes, threats, and asset enhancements, and are interconnected among all Corps within the Army.

The development of Army Manuals aligns with the 30th Army Chief’s primary directive of the 3M Synergy: Man, Machine, and Method. The Army, through its diverse land domain capabilities, needs to interact across other operational domains to produce military responses within the context of joint operations. The Army must refine and develop operational concepts and drive doctrine development based on principles of integration and interoperability.

Also attending the meeting were Maj Gen Datuk Marzuki bin Hj Mokhtar, Chief of Army Training, Maj Gen Ahmad Najib bin Othman (CoS Army Field Command HQ West), Brig Gen Mohd Rafi bin Muhammad, (Acting CoS Army Field Command HQ East) and the Permanent Members of the JKDTD Committee.
